Bede Ramcharan, FACHE founded Indatatech in 2000. Bede holds a Masters in Healthcare Administration (MHA) from the US Army Baylor Healthcare Program. He retired in 2000 as a Service-Disabled Veteran.
During his Army career, he has worked at virtually every level of command from Company level to Battalion Command . He is a parachutist, and has been awarded numerous medals and honors. He was selected for a Congressional Fellowship with the Brookings Institute, and worked on the personal staff of Congressman James Clyburn (SC) where he advised the Congressman on healthcare and military issues.
He is the Founder, President and CEO of Indatatech. Indatatech is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) that provides global supply chain solutions through their Procurement & Sourcing Services, Logistics & Technical Services, Staffing & Recruiting Services, and Facility Management Services. Indatatech has performed work in over 12 countries and has operations ongoing in over six (6) states, and exporting products to three (3) overseas locations. He founded the San Antonio Veterans Institute (SAVI), a nonprofit with the mission of providing outreach for homeless veterans, healthcare connections, and education for employers on service animals and veterans.
Bede was featured on the cover of NaVOBA’s Vetrepreneur magazine as the 2015 Minority Vetrepreneur of the Year. He has served on numerous Boards, and currently serves on the Boards of the San Antonio Asian Chamber of Commerce, the Houston Asian Chamber of Commerce, the National Veteran Small Business Coalition, and the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA). He has served as Commissioner of Planning and Zoning, and as City Councilman for the City of Cibolo, Texas. In 2014, Bede Ramcharan was featured in the White House Newsletter for Asian American and Pacific Islander Initiatives, and named one of San Antonio’s Small Business Leaders in 2014. He is a Life Member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity.
