I am a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps with over 30 years of business experience, and I have the honor of serving as the founder and president of Veteran Franchise Advisers. Having navigated the highs and lows of franchising, I am passionate about sharing my journey to empower fellow veterans in discovering exciting franchise business opportunities.
My service in the Marine Corps from 1976 to 1983, first in the infantry and later in a collaborative project with the Navy and Air Force, instilled in me a profound sense of duty and leadership. After my military career, I leveraged my skills as an electronics technician and spent over 20 years advancing in the business world, culminating as Vice President of Global Marketing for an international software company.
I have had the privilege of helping renowned organizations like Chase Bank, Xerox, Compaq, and Hewlett-Packard expand and innovate. Furthermore, I participated in four software startups and founded two businesses: CompuTutor, a computer training firm, and a network design consulting firm, demonstrating my commitment to creating opportunities.
As a Certified Franchise Adviser since 2011, my mission is to guide veterans toward franchise opportunities that resonate with their financial aspirations and personal goals. My service on the VetFran committee of the International Franchise Association from 2011 to 2013 reflects my dedication to supporting my fellow veterans.
